Rice Solar Car

One of the highlights of my time at Rice was being a part of the Solar Car Team, where we designed, built, and raced energy-efficient solar-electric vehicles. The team was formed during my freshman year, and I took on the role of Mechanical Subsystem Lead, overseeing the design and integration of key mechanical components. Later, I became the Systems Lead, ensuring that all the subcomponents—mechanical, electrical, and solar—came together into a cohesive and optimized vehicle.

In my senior year, I was elected Club President, a role that expanded my responsibilities into fundraising, fostering partnerships with industry leaders, recruiting new team members, and managing projects to meet deadlines. My involvement with this team not only deepened my technical expertise but also taught me invaluable lessons in leadership, collaboration, and project management.

I’m incredibly grateful for the skills I gained and the friendships I built during this time, as they have shaped both my professional journey and personal growth.
